I am first of all a student of my experience, the sport and my clients. Despite the strong opinions that exists in social media discourse about endurance running, I believe there are many ways to accomplish a runner’s goals.
I believe that performance in sport is the result of innumerable factors, many of which are out of our control, and many of which are within our scope of influence. I believe that performance in a race, or completion of an event is an expression of our physical, mental and emotional capacity at that moment. And sometimes, shit happens.
Chronically stressed bodies do not easily adapt to training. Training adaptation, as well as the adaptation that comes from meditation and happens in the periods of recovery after the adaptive stress.
I designed this training program to prioritize this underlying balance, and allow the stresses of training the mind and the body to develop from a foundation of wellbeing.
As a yoga teacher and experienced runner, I am equipped to help you navigate the physical, mental, and emotional tensions that occur when undergoing a process of adaptation.
I’ll do my best to give you the tools and resources that have supported me in my path. If you’re interested in developing in one area or another, whether that be sports physiology, breath training, or meditation, they will be made available to you.
As your coach, I will be a supportive and educated guide as you explore the edges of your mental and physical capacities.
Monthly coaching fees are set at $100 per month, and includes a personalized training program, individual check-ins via Zoom, daily mileage and workouts, strength & mobility, breathwork and mindfulness protocol.
